The doubles team of Nicole Berkman and Janine Cooper are the only entrants still in contention for an individual state championship with three straight-set victories heading into the fourth-round of 16. They dropped only seven games in their three contests.

Casey Frommer won three of her four matches and can continue to add points to the Giants’ total in the consolation bracket as can the tandem of Lizzie Raab and Kimberly Rhum in doubles.

Frommer took her opening round match, dropped her next effort but then took a pair of consolation round contests to contribute to the team total. Raab and Rhum were victorious in the first two rounds before falling in the third. They play in the back draw today along with Frommer.

After winning her first match, Jessica Rosenberg fell in the second round and then dropped her consolation opener to be eliminated from the tournament.
