Photo of the Day: Local High School Student Wins Athlete of the Year Honor
Miguel Lara has been honored as the Northern Suburban Recreation Association for his athleticism and character.
junior Miguel Lara has been named Athlete of the Year by the Northern Suburban Recreation Association.
Lara, who plays golf, track and field, swimming and bowling, was selected out of a pool of 100 athletes.
"He was selected for this award based on his athletic achievements and his character," according to a press statement from Highland Park High School.
