My Best Friend's Closet Hosts Fashion Forward Party

On June 23, My Best Friend’s Closet hosted an amazing fashion forward party that shook up the North Shore.

The store was graced with the presence of Project Runway’s own and Michael Drummond. Peach Carr flaunted her super cute tennis inspired summer collection. Mini-skirts in bright eye-catching patterns rocked the runway, while slinky form-fitting tennis dresses made dressing for an evening out more fun than ever before.

Michael Drummond shocked us all with his handmade edgy knitwear collection. His new summer collection showcased breathable gauzy fabrics -- perfect for a hot summer night out. Michael also debuted his new collection of delicate cotton scarves in striking summer colors.

Of course, a night of fashion is never complete without a new line of fabulous jewelry. Up and coming Libertyville designer Jenny Shay displayed her beautifully handmade necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. All of her jewels were adorned with beautiful antique pieces and bright summer stones -- definitely a perfect accent for any summer outfit.

To add true meaning to the evening, a portion of every purchase was donated to The Bottomless Closet, a non-profit organization that helps underprivileged women return back to work.
