Have you or your children created a piece of visual art worthy of an award?

If you are a Highland Park resident you could be one of four winners selected for a blue ribbon at the fourth annual Art Is Alive juried art show in Highland Park.

Just drop off your creation between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday at The Art Center so the judges can have a look. They will select approximately six finalists in four divisions—elementary school, middle school, high school and adult—and then a winner in each one.

The champions will be announced when the exhibit opens Jan. 10 at The Art Center, according to Executive Assistant Erin Saltgaver. Entries are limited to one per person.
