Wagner Farms Hosts First 'Northshore Baconfest'

It is perhaps the most delicious part of the pig. It is bacon.  Wagner Farm in Glenview, one of the last working dairy farms in Cook County, is hosting the first-ever "Northshore Baconfest" on Saturday, April 27.  Spend a sizzling evening on the farm as chefs from across the North Shore serve up tastings of their unique bacon creations. The event is limited to adults only and will feature live music by Bucky Halker, a cash bar and an array of unique bacon-related merchandise available for purchase.  Restaurants that are participating include: Arnold’s Meats, Blue Grass Restaurant, Bravo Cucina Italiana, Casa Bonita Mexican Restaurant, Catered by Design, Egg Harbor Café, Hearty Boys Restaurant, Jolane’s Restaurant & Bar, Maier’s Bakery, …
