Both boys’ and girls’ basketball teams from Deerfield High School fall to Highland Park.
Dec. 18 Boys’ Basketball The Final Score: Highland Park 49, Deerfield 31 Giants Star Performers: Sam Shrago scored 13 points while David Sachs chipped in 12 tallies along with four assists and a pair of steals. Warriors Star Performer: Eric Porter poured in eight points and contributed an assist, a rebound and a steal. Other Notable Giant Performance: Brandon Krawitz added nine points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out two assists. Other Notable Warrior Performances: Michael Alfieri hauled down seven rebounds and added four points. Patrick Burns had four rebounds and two assists.
