Key to the Cure Packs Saks
Over 500 people came to Saks Fifth Avenue last night to raise money for the Kellog Cancer Center.
The first time Debbie Hulick came to a Key to the Cure kick-off was in 2007, shortly after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She got so much out the fundraiser that, three years later, she's planning it. "After I finished my treatment I said, 'You know what? I'm going to be on the board," she explained at Thursday's kick off for the event, now in its 12th year. Between Thursday and Sunday, Saks Fifth Avenue will donate a percentage of its sales to Kellogg Cancer Center, a woman's cancer treatment center located within Highland Park Hospital.
