Highland Park Teen From Burgled Home Arrested for Dealing Drugs

Police investigation into the Aug. 2 armed burglary led to the arrest of Jacob A. Lynn, 17, who lives at the home that was broken into. Deerfield teens Joseph J. Mahoney and Joshua S. Norris are facing home invasion charges for the break-in.

A 17-year-old Highland Park resident has become the third teen arrested as a result of police investigation into the armed burglary that took place on Parkside Drive earlier this month. Teens Charged In Burglary: The Story so Far Jacob A. Lynn, who lives in the 3000 block Parkside home that was broken into, has been arrested and charged as an adult for unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Highland Park Police Department. His arrest comes two weeks after Deerfield teens Joseph J. Mahoney and Joshua S. Norris, both 17, were arrested and charged as adults for home invasion, residential burglary and possession of a stolen firearm…
