Grand Jury Indicts Deerfield Teens
Charges in formal indictment against Joseph Mahoney and Josh Norris for Highland Park home invasion and other crimes total more than 100 possible years in jail.
Two Deerfield teenagers charged as adults with August burglaries in both Highland Park and Deerfield were indicted Wednesday on 10 separate counts each by the Lake County Grand Jury, according to Patricia Fix, the chief of the felony trial division in the Lake County State’s Attorney’s office. Joshua Norris and Joseph Mahoney, both 17, were charged with 10 separate offenses each, which total more than 100 years of possible jail time, according to Fix. They are both accused of the same offenses.
