ReplyThis photo gallery shows 13 images of original 24×24 in. paintings on wood, recently donated to Equestrian Connection (EC), located at 600 N. Bradley Road in Lake Forest.
A not-for-profit IL 501c3 corporation, EC provides therapy programs to those with special needs.
Each of the paintings is currently for sale at $200 or for a reasonable offer with all revenue benefiting EC's art therapy program.

ReplyKaren, Miss Adams was more progressive than Miss Polcock. We couldn't choose our partners. Girls and boys faced each other in straight lines. A boy's first partner was the girl directly across from him, and the girl to his left was his next. Oh, as I recall, ice cream after class at Petersen's on Chicago Avenue trumped Miss Bonnie's piano accompaniment as the most exciting part of the evening!

Wore white gloves to learn ballroom dancing in Miss Polcock's dance class during the late 50s at the Oak Park Club. Did her class "propagate any semblance of civilized society" during the mid-60s at UW-Madison? For a clue, please view my photo.
