Dr. Starkman practices Integrative Medicine, blending Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) with conventional western medicine to help his patients meet their optimal health.  Dr. Starkman began studying Tai Chi and Qigong in 1998.  He is also a Reiki practitioner and instructor since 2004.  He is a certified Bodytalk practitioner since 2004 as well.  Dr. Starkman has been training in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) since 2004.  He primarily uses Cranial Osteopathy based in the Biodynamic model, along with myofascial release and balanced ligamentous tension techniques.  Dr. Starkman also uses Standard Process whole food supplementation and other nutritional supplements as part of his comprehensive nutritional approach.  His western medical approach is based in conventional family medicine, but also incorporates hormone testing/balancing and the HCG weight-loss protocol.
