Highland Park Man Man Named to Oy! Chicago's '36 Under 36' List of Jewish Leaders

Oy! Chicago has released its “Double Chai in the Chi 36 Under 36" list of young Jewish leaders, humanitarians, educators and social activists, including Highland Park's own David Goldenberg.

The 34-year-old is a member of JUF's YLD Board and the Young Leadership Campaign chair and has helped raise millions of dollars to help people in need. Goldenberg is also one of a select few to be appointed to the Jewish Federation of North America's National Young Leadership Cabinet, according to his bio on Oy! Chicago.

"We were blown away by the high quality of the nominees this year," said Stefanie Pervos Bregman, Founding Editor and Blogger-in-Chief for Oy!Chicago, in a story published by the Chicago Tribune. "The 36 people on this year’s list are truly shaping the landscape of the Jewish community and bringing innovative ideas to Chicago."

The "36 Under 36" recipients will be highlighted at YLD's "WYLD on Mag Mile" party on Aug. 15 on the Howells & Hood patio in Chicago, which is open to the public.
