Yard Sale Banned in Highland Park, part 2

Download problems required use of a second page for this listing to include the images.  So here they are, to provide more information.  Nikita and I have no objection if the Patch editors can combine the 2 listings.

Per Patch reader request, this yard sale is posted for 351 Prospect, the Bandstand at the 3-way junction of Prospect, Linden, and Laurel in Highland Park.

The items for sale, and sale of these items current are BANNED as assault weapons in Highland Park, as is the sale of firearms by FFLholders (i.e, those WITH background checks for the buyers).  It is possible that one or both of these laws may be overturned by federal court and retracted by the city by the proposed date of the sale, and it is possible (but not certain) that the Historical Society might honor its original offer to provide premises for a gun exhibition.  If such events transpire, the yard sale and gun exhibition will occur.  If only the first two events transpire but the Historical Society does not change its current position, another HP location near the listed one is available as backup.
Yard sale of the legendary handguns of Walther, Hammerli, Steyr, Feinwerkbau, Steyr, Pfuff, SIG and others.  Most (but not quite all) are banned as assault weapons in Highland Park, and in all honesty, are the dream of Defense Intelligence field agents and the like.  Now retired from use in Europe and testing, and available to qualified individuals.  All sales via FFL-authorized routes, only.

If the federal courts delay acting on the various HP issues,, the event remains relocated from HP to

2453 Sheridan
Zion IL 60099

Saturday July 12 from 10 am to 5pm.

No early sales.  NO non-FFL mediated sales (even if held in HP, despite HP prohibition of FFL mediated background checks).  Rules for law enforcement purchase are complex.  Inquire first, rather than assuming immediate sale to law enforcement officers is possible.

Magazines sold with guns only.

Discussion on gun design, firearms use and accuracy, self defense issues, concealed carry, and the like with experts in those areas will be available.

No admission charge, children welcome if well behaved and accompanied by a legally responsible adult.

Some but not all of these weapons are suitable for concealed carry.  Accuracy and reliability of all of them is at, or well beyond that of the best ever produced in the USA.
NONE of these guns are located in Highland Park at this time, and none will be transported into Highland Park for any user until the ban is reversed.

Posting of this event is made early, to allow time to answer questions, and to see if anyone even looks at Patch ads.

Please contact  Nikita@alum.MIT.edu for further information ON THE SPECIFIC GUNS regarding the models, accuracy, possible uses, etc..   The guns illustrated are only a small fraction of what will be available.  At this time, it is not clear if Tanner or G&E rifles will be offered or not.

While some or most residents of Winnetka and Kenilworth would not dream of going to places like Highland Park, this may be worth an exception.

Remember, what is imaged on these  2 pages is only a fraction of what will be available in HP, or if the laws are not changed, in Zion.
