Introduction to LinkdIn for Small Business (SCORE Chicago)

LinkedIn is the biggest networking platform on the Web today and it's growing fast. No longer merely for job search, it can be used to market your small business, whether it is B2B or B2C. Mr. Yublosky will present an overview of the top benefits, the best tools available for your use and some action steps you can immediately take to build your brand.

Michael Yublosky - Resource Mentor, Workshop Presenter, SCORE Chicago Michael specializes in developing marketing strategies for new and existing small business Web sites, analyzing existing Web sites, using search engine optimization as well as free social media networking and marketing platforms such as WordPress blogging, LinkedIn, YouTube and others. Previously Yublosky spent 28 years in sales, sales management and training before retiring in 2010. Michael has used Internet free resources exclusively since 2007. Mr. Yublosky also volunteers for libraries and not-for-profit agencies, teaching the unemployed how to use social media to help find work.

SCORE - Counselors to America's Small Business - is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business in the US.

The workshop is presented by SCORE Chicago, City of Highland Park's Office of Economic Development and the Library.
