We are thrilled to announce the official launch of North Shore College Consulting’s new blog. The last few years have been incredibly busy for North Shore College Consulting. We completed the rigorous UCLA College Counseling program, earning our Certificates of College Counseling with distinction, attended numerous continuing education conferences and webinars, visited colleges across the country, and were accepted for membership by the three national college counseling organizations in the country. We have also recently opened a new office, conveniently located at 493 Laurel Avenue in Highland Park. Most importantly, we have been providing cutting-edge college admissions guidance to students of all ages throughout the North Shore area. We have worked closely with seniors to successfully navigate the college application process with an overwhelming number of acceptances at colleges around the country.
We won’t lie. Applying to college is very different now than 20 years ago. If you Google “college admissions,” you will get millions of results. Almost 227,000,000, the last time we did it. Sometimes the hardest part of college admissions is just navigating the information you read online or hear from a family member, neighbor or friend. Our goal is to guide our readers in the right direction. With accurate information and a little planning, the process can actually be fun.
We invite you to follow our blog as we offer our insights into the schools we tour, as well as provide valuable college admissions news, information and articles. In addition to sharing trends and giving advice, we will remind families about important deadlines to keep students on pace.
