Vandals Spray Graffiti on Highland Park High School

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Criminal Damage to Property 

Police are investigating a report of criminal damage to property on Sept. 25. Unknown person(s) painted two pieces of graffiti on the north side of the high school just west of entrance "H". One piece which read "e=mc^2", the second appeared to be the number "3" with other markings. Both pieces were approximately 2 feet wide and marked in black spray paint, according to Highland Park Police reports

Theft

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that a rose gold and black/white diamond band was taken from a bedroom dresser sometime between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. and Saturday. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Sheridan Road..

Driver’s License Infractions and More 

Kiara Jackson, 25, of Waukegan was arrested Sunday and charged with driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle, no valid registration and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Oct. 23 in Park City.
